Hindsight (after James Galvin)

Nicole Taylor
To claim that you judge would be a fair assessment.
Railcars grip the steely track:
Critic, Criticism,
Philosopher, Philosophy.
If I paint my toes am I too frivolous?
Pointy-headed decrees.
As we parted, I tore
into a new beginning—hindsight provides
change no grip.
We are someone’s lesson,
Lesson on awareness, for example.
My actions, your words left us
receptive to truth.
