Between the Strings

Atoms, molecules, or mass,
infinite or measured,
     the      space      between--

A realm disturbed
by nimble fingers, skin,
bones and muscle pulling,
thumbing cords at the mercy of the hand:
    
     the      space      between      the strings,
     intangible, known
     only to few.
              
What forms in between
that theory  or equation cannot
 capture the sound, the music of
    the      space     between      the strings
